Unlikely friends...

In my obsession over being pregnant I decided to look for some maternity clothes on ebay. I found a cute pair of Babystyle jeans not only in my size, but also in long length. Here's where it gets interesting. Not only was there 1 pair, there were 2, both being sold by the same person and ending within 2 minutes of eachother. In all of my ebay savviness I decided to use my favorite tool, Auction Sniper (www.auctionsniper.com) to ensure that I at least got one pair. I watched as the time ticked down and the first pair sold...I was the winning bidder! I quickly went to auction sniper to cancel my second bid and guess what..."that bid may not be canceled" was the message that kept appearing. Evidentally I didn't read the small print and after an auction gets down to a certain time (still haven't read it to find out exactly what the time is) you can't cancel your bid. So, low and behold within 2 minutes I was the winner or 2 pairs of Babystyle jeans. I emailed the seller, told her what happend and she contacted the last 2 bidders to see if they were intersted, neither were. She offered to have me just pay the listing fee and relist them, and after talking to Andy, decided to just get both pairs. I emailed her with my decision and a couple hours later she emailed me back saying that one of the bidders changed their mind and wanted them. I said, "let her have them!"

In the midst of all this craziness I have made a new sort of friend. Her name is Lisa, she has 3 children, the youngest of whom is 6 months old. She loves being a mom and would have more children had her husband not said, "we're done!" She shares my style and taste in clothing and didn't see a thing wrong with me buying maternity clothes while only 5 weeks pregnant! As she said in one of her emails, "who would have guessed that 3 peoples (mine, hers and the lady who didn't want the pants and then changed her mind) happiness could be so entertwined and we've never even met.
