Happy Easter!

We hope everyone is enjoying their Easter Sunday! Our festivities started yesterday with our 2nd annual neighborhood easter egg hunt. Our plan was to do it outside like last year, but due to extremely high winds it was moved inside at the last minute. We had it at our house which was a little scary, but turned out just fine. Here is a picture of some of the kids going through their "loot"....



Bella was up earlier than usual and couldn't wait to get downstairs to see what the Easter Bunny left her. She was so excited to find her basket filled with lots of goodies including The Chronicles Of Narnia DVD. As she was looking through her basket something caught her eye and she said "Wait a minute Daddy! I think I see an egg!" She ran over to the couch and sure enough there was a egg hidden in the couch. From that minute on the egg hunt was on and she did a great job finding all the eggs. After she was done we got ready and went to church. I know Easter is a busy time for churches but it was awesome to see all the people there today. We actually ended up giving up our seats shortly after the service began because there were so many people looking for seats. While taking Bella into Kidz Rock I noticed that Terri was in the nursery by herself with about 10 kids, so I stayed and helped her out. I was a little bummed to miss the service, but happy to help out due to so many people being at church.

Now we are at home relaxing for the day. It's raining today and has been snowing off and on. The weather here is so crazy...today is cold and storming and by Wednesday it's supposed to be 70 degrees!
