Merry Christmas!

We hope your day has been wonderful! Despite Andy coming down with the flu Bella had last week we have managed to have a really nice day. We were of course up early to open presents and after the excitement we were able to take a nice long nap and just woke up a little bit ago.

All of our gifts were wonderful but Andy completely SHOCKED me by buying me this...



It is a Nikon D80. It has 10.2 mp and came with 2 lenses. I said I was shocked, but I mean, really. truly. shocked. So much so that I started to cry (yes, I know I'm pregnant, but still...). I don't know how to describe how much it meant that he would buy me something like this without any prodding or hinting around. I just never expected it. After carefully following the instructions I have it to where I can take a basic picture, but beyond that I have NO clue what I'm doing. I am so excited to learn how everything works and my goal is to have a decent understanding of it all by the time the baby is born so I can hopefully get some really neat pictures of Bella and her new baby brother or sister.

I'm going to cook us a nice dinner of Prime Rib, mashed potatoes and asparagus and then I think we are going to watch Cars tonight.

I have a ton of pictures to share that I will try to get up over the next few days, but until then I'll leave you with this one from last night...
