Happy 7th Birthday Bella!

As hard as it is for me to believe that Bella is 7 years old today, it's true! She has been looking forward to her birthday for several weeks now and had just about every minute of it planned out, starting with how she would wake up to us singing "Happy Birthday" to her this morning! ;)

We have spread the celebration out a bit, spending the evening as a family with dinner at Claim Jumper (her choice), gifts from us and a movie at home (we're introducing her to one of our all time favorites, Goonies). Tomorrow is breakfast at IHOP and then preparing for a sleepover with a few of her friends!

It's hard to for me to express in words how grateful I am to be her mom. She is such a kind hearted girl and it's such a joy to see her grown in to her own little person. I have so many more thoughts, but am going to leave it at that for tonight. I want to get back to watching the movie and cuddling with my favorite people!

And of course I can't end this post without a very special birthday wish to our favorite 5 year old...Kendra! Kendra and Bella not only share a birthday, but have a very special connection to each other. They were wishing each other a Happy Birthday on the phone at 7:30 this morning! We love you Kendra and hope this is a very special year for you! :)
