The Happiest Place on Earth!

Life has been exceptionally busy for us the past few weeks, but right in the middle of all of the organized chaos came a much needed treat...the girls and I joined Art, Rhonda, Rickson, Robert, Nicki, Savannah, Rylee and Ryan for a few days in Disneyland! It would take far too long to write the details of how our trip came about and how many times we didn't think we were going to be able to go, but in the end it worked out and we had such a fun time!

We left Reno on an airplane at 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday (that means the alarm clock went off at 4 a.m.), flew into LAX, caught a shuttle to our hotel, checked in, changed our clothes and were inside of Disneyland by 10:30 a.m. We spent Wednesday and Thursday exploring the parks with everyone, making sure all of the kiddos got to go on their favorite rides (it was different for all of them ;) ) and tried not to melt in the unseasonably hot weather.

Friday, it was just the girls and me and we spent a good part of the day making sure Chloe got to visit with the characters she wanted to see. The weather was a bit cooler which made for a nice day. That night we watched the new World of Color show in California Adventure and it far exceeded my expectations! It was amazing!
We left the park at 11:00 p.m. on Friday, packed all of our stuff back up and were up on Saturday morning at 4:00 a.m. again to catch our 4:30 shuttle back to the airport. We were on the plane just as the sun was rising and were back in Reno at 9:30 on Saturday morning.

Needless to say we were all completely exhausted, but it was so worth it! We scheduled our trip like that because Andy was supposed to come with us, but at the last minute (after we had purchased our airline tickets) he was unable to come due to work. We were really bummed, but he encouraged us to just go and have fun (the girls and I are pretty darn lucky to have someone who loves us so much)!

Our trip was such a blessing and came at just the right time!
