Mmmm..Mmmm...

The girls and I have been having a lot of fun working on various "fall" projects over the past few weeks and today we tried our hands at Caramel Apples. I've never made them before so I wasn't sure how "kid friendly" the process was, but I have to say, it was a great thing to do with the girls. We started off by unwrapping the individual caramels, which is something even Chloe was able to help with. After that I made up the caramel and dipped the apples. Then we put the goodies we had for decorating in bowls and the girls went to town. And the best part...there was just enough left over to slice up an apple and dip it in the caramel for a tasty treat!
