Change in plans!

Early Saturday morning I got a phone call from my mom saying that Bella was complaining of an earache and that she thought she was pretty sick. Bella was crying in the background and was so upset she wouldn't even talk to me. Grandma was very concerned and decided she should bring her home. In the meantime Bella fell asleep for a while and according to Grandma was "a different child" when she woke up, but just in case they were coming home. I met Bella and my mom at Claim Jumper because Bella wanted to eat in a restaurant (some of you know that CJ is Bella's favorite) and when Bella is with Grandma, Bella gets what she wants! ;) About 20 minutes after they arrived Bella's earache and tummy ache (she also said her tummy hurt) were all better...amazing the healing powers of a mom!! ;)

Andy and I had plans to go to his company Christmas party that night so my mom stayed home while we went for dinner at the Hilton. The food was pretty good (they had tri-tip that was excellent), the company was okay and for the 8th year in a row we left without winning a single thing in the raffle! I think we were home by 10:00...the big partiers we are!! :P

Sunday we got up and made it to the early service at church. Pastor Art has started a series following the Chronicles of Narnia and we really enjoyed it. After church we went to a restaurant in town called the Stonehouse on recommendation from our friends Rob and Christina. It was such a neat little place. An old house that they had actually turned into a restaurant. It wasn't very big and we had to wait a while for a table, but it was well worth it. This will be our new place to take company when they come to visit. Anyone who lives here in town should definitely check it out sometime! After breakfast we came home, dropped Andy and Bella off and went back out to finish a few last minute shopping errands. Mom left around 3:00 and we spent the rest of the day just hanging out, watching football, eating and being lazy.
