Bella went to visit Grandma Dean this weekend. I took her to Susanville yesterday where she was more than happy to say goodbye and head to Mt. Shasta. I called her last night to check on her and after about 30 seconds on the phone with me she said, "I've gotta go, I'm working on my gingerbread house" and that was the last I heard from her until she was so kind to tell me goodnight and that she loved me before we went to bed (yes, mom and dad went to bed before Bella did). She sure is a lucky little girl to have 2 sets of grandparents who love her so much and who she enjoys spending time with.
I'm trying to take advantage of my time alone and get some errands done, but to be honest, it's just not as fun without my little buddy! ;) I did however, finally find something to do to occupy my time. I went to Michael's where I picked up a few Christmas decorating projects, stopped by Wild Oats to get a cup of soup, some olives, 2 kinds of fancy cheese and a yummy baguet and came home to eat my fancy snacks, drink a glass of wine and do some decorating. I think I'll even turn the Christmas music on!!
Here are a couple pics my mom sent me this morning...
